This letter from John Milton to Dorothy Brett responds to a previous letter Brett wrote suggesting that Milton send her subject ideas to guide her piece for the South Dakota Review. In light of this Milton lists four suggestions. First, new thoughts on David Hebert Lawrence would certainly be of interest to readers. So to would be Brett's comments on other Taos writers. Milton also suggests writing a piece about her experiences painting pueblo scenes. His last suggestion is left open to include anything about Taoz upon which Dorothy Brett would like comment. For local guidance about South Dakota Review specific styling and format Brett is pointed to Claire Morrill.
