This item is part of the larger Sioux Falls Municipal Band Collection available at the Center for Western Studies. The collection covers the band's existence since its founding in 1919. Board minutes cover from 1919 through 1994, the band's 75th anniversary year. Included in this collection is information which Dr. Leland Lillehaug used to write "Music for the People." A comprehensive history of the band's first 75 years. The collection also includes photographs, recordings, and other miscellaneous items.
