The Hugh L. Burleson Papers, available at the Center for Western Studies, consist of correspondence, photos and documents written by or pertaining to the life of Hugh Burleson, particularly during his time as Bishop in South Dakota. The collection is broken down into four separate sections, each with some degree of local organization. Items range from personal and church related correspondence to committee reports and a scrapbook covering the Bishop’s various published articles.
